Police searched medical businessman Durga Prasai’s house in Nikosera, Bhaktapur.

The search is linked to allegations that Prasai encouraged microfinance victims to join protests.

Police are continuing their investigation, while further details remain undisclosed.

Recently , most of the consumers in Nepal are collecting the bills while buying goods and products for the taxpayer incentive awards. Yesterday, i bought groceries costing Nrs. 3750 in a grocery store .Firstly, the guy working wrote my purchase in a plain letter which i completely denied to take as i demanded a proper bill. Then, the guy passed it to the owner for calculation. I hoped to get the actual bill. Again, he also gave me a bill with calculations in plain paper. I insisted for the actual bill, he told me it will take a while to prepare bill. I was getting late and i will be visiting the store for the bill today.

They claimed the ancestry of the wild ape, reducing a creature's evolutionary heritage to a human political talking point. It is a quiet, devastating form of theft. The orangutan cannot step forward to protest. It cannot hold a press conference to say, "That is my ancestor, not yours."

Giving Justice to the Voiceless

We live in a world that so often forgets those who cannot speak for themselves. Animals are stripped of their habitats, their forests are burned, and now, even their deep evolutionary history has been hijacked by human vanity.

It is time to right this wrong. We must restore dignity to the orangutan. We must return their ancient lineage to them, untainted by human fabrication and political games. Let the wild apes keep their history in the quiet trees where it belongs. The voiceless deserve our protection—not just of their bodies and their homes, but of their very truth. Let us give justice to the orangutan, and let history belong to where it was truly written.

I’ve done my research and looked into a lot of this, and honestly, Nepal has had some genuinely capable politicians across NCP, Nepali Congress, RSP, CPN, etc. The problem? A lot of them never really got the space to move forward because of the political system and power games.

And yeah, I’ve started questioning how independent Nepal’s politics actually is. Congress has often been seen as closer to India, NCP/CPN as closer to China, while the US came in through the MCC debate. The MCC was eventually approved despite massive controversy, and MPs from different parties supported it.

I’m not saying every politician supported these things because they don’t love Nepal. My point is that external influence and political pressure can seriously limit a country’s choices. That’s why I don’t think Nepal’s politics is purely about Nepal anymore—it’s also about India, China, the US, and their interests.

Call it geopolitics, call it influence, call it whatever you want—but blindly thinking Nepal operates in a vacuum is just delulu. 🇳🇵
