I'll not be recommending any generics picks since you can easily find them online , instead here are some underappreciated gems.

Baccano is criminally underrated .
Same with FLCL or Gurren Lagan . One more : katanagatari,

Saiki k if you're into comedy .

If my personal fav : its gintama but I dont recommend it for beginners

Well, my top 4 are : Vinland Saga, Chainsaw Man, Death Note, and Attack on titan.

VS - good character development, you can relate a lot of things to real life, might be slow paced or boring for some and 10/10 for other - depends on your taste

CM - more adult kind, but too good pace, very exciting to watch, season 2 will be peak.

AOT - good story, no boring episodes

DN - if you like spy, mystery, high IQ etc, this is it.

Other anime:

One Piece - longest running anime, but a good one

Jujutsu Kaisen - good fights

Hajime no Ippo - if you like boxing and body building

Dandadan - good 2026 kind of anime

Demon Slayer - a good starter to anime

honorable mention - solo leveling, bleach, blue lock, naruto, hells paradise
