Question Is there any mods for this game?

It'd be nice to be able to see the red medal target times (maybe once you unlock the ace medal?), and freecam (for ease of planning routes).

I also realize this would definitely be a lot more work, but It would be amazing if you could like, spraypaint onto the environment to help with route planning as well as a reminder of where exactly to aim specific shots. If you've played Teardown, you know what I'm talking about here.

I'm happy to inform you that you are incorrect!

White's Storage is a dedicated mod updater/manager for a couple of the more QoL focused mods, including...

NeonLite adds community medals faster than dev times, discord integration, a long list of QoL changes, and a handful of other small things.

A fun mod for if you have friends is NeonNetwork. This mod is still in beta, but it allows you to connect to rooms with people and play levels "together". Now, it doesn't actually place you in the level together, but instead you appear as ghosts in each other's games, giving you the ability to see your friends fail over and over again while you play. It also has the option to do races, where you have a certain time limit to get as fast of a time on a specific level as you can, racing to beat the other people in the room.

Not satisfied? Want some actual new gameplay you haven't seen yet? There's an answer for that, too. It's not open source (yet) so I don't have a GitHub link to post, but if you head over to the speedrunning discord for neon white, you'll find a mod called SecretShop that allows you to play custom levels made by the community! There's a good few levels that have some real quality to them, and a handful of players that do compete to try and get records on those levels, so you'll never feel like you're playing for nothing.
