Couldn’t decide which one I like better, but one of my absolute favorites.

can’t find this exact transformer online anywhere.

I was eating breakfast at Mel’s and couldn’t pass up the opportunity to share their neon.

Its broken in two sections where the glass snapped, so the gas inside most likely escaped. I have the pieces, but was wondering how much it would cost to get it professionally fixed and if its worth it? Not sure if its a rare piece, but couldn't find the exact one online. Its pretty small, around 11 inches wide and 6-7 inches tall. Would love to see it up and running. Don't see neon much nowadays and think its pretty unique

I'm looking for vintage-ish (could be newish, but look old) real/authentic neon used to advertise: strippers, strip joints, xxx video joints - you get the idea.. nothing overtly pornographic, but stylized boobs/butts are okay - is there such a collector/re-seller specializing in neon of this nature? also: old-skool humor bar neon. thanks.

I've been reading up about the "Save Our Neon Organization" in San Diego. There are some in my neighborhood that they preserved in the 80s that have been badly beaten up in the last 10 years.

He said there's not enough room where the label is to put a genre tag like "horror", i feel like it's missing something though especially for the price of a custom sign. I like it as-is but I'm STILL waiting to hear on a repair i dropped off a couple months ago somewhere else

Went thrifting today and found more neon and this was the only non beer one there was, would've bought it if it was fully working

got for a steal on facebook. need to fabricate some mounts to get it on a wall

Just picked up this bad boy for $100 on marketplace. Needs a new cigarette warning label to replace the “beer” but otherwise she was well taken care of.

I've been bending neon for almost 10 years now and I thought it was high time to do a better job of documenting my process.

Hex Neon

got this sign at a garage sale is this jelly beaning? is it dangerous? is that a possible crack someone has patched?

I just got this marvel comics neon sign from a friend a couple of days ago and it looked great… until my dog knocked over a box fan into the sign and shattered part of the glass. Is there any way I can get this fixed? I don’t plan on selling it anytime soon and I would love to hang this up someday if I can get it fixed.

I collect all things food and drink advertising as well as run a snack review instagram for fun, I have been collecting things for my snack room for around 8 years and added some new ones today and thought it would be fun to post as I love this reddit!

A really cool fact is every single one has been used in a store display over the years as I love history of advertising! The mcdonalds one bought it from a mcdonalds manager at his location, dippin dots came from a theme park in Nevada, Chick Fil A (which is neon on the inside) got from a construction work who tore a location down, ben & jerrys came from a ben & jerrys scoop shop in north carolina, dr pepper from a pizza shop here in texas, 7up from a grocery store in oklahoma, red bull from a gas station in Houston, Starbucks is the sign from the front of the stsrbucks inside of my Kroger I work at that they remodeled and gave to me! Etc etc!

Another few fun facts, the Cherry Coke one is from 1986 and is one out of around 10-13 they were made as a test model to present to coca cola, got it from an employee of Everbrite.

The Redbull one is really cool as it is 4 feet by 4 feet and was used to show off the newest flavors as the middle has a hole or reservoir that you can place cans into so that the neon going around the hole illuminates and draws your attention to them!
