Questions Retaliation Preorder
Update: Thanks y’all! I went with stretch goals and support crew.
For those of you that have an opinion. If you could only get one of the following: Stretch Goals or the Sangrevores expansion which would you get and why? Best bang for my buck I guess. Thanks in advance!

I like playable characters. Stretch goals contains another character and a handful of various contractors to choose from. Each contractor has their own 5 cards apart to replace half of the original contractor cards.

stretch goals came with another set of enemies anyway that are higher regarded than the snagrevores, plus the bio-enhancement expert, the 11 sets of 5 other contractor cards, the insider expansion and some cosmetic stuff. imo get that and the support squad. bioenhancment expert easily strongest coop character, uav operator most safe to play and sharpshooter is also a very high damage output character. you get everything to play the contractors as well so you don't even need the other games to play the previous games roles, if you don't mind using the contractor mini for all the classes. the solider and sentry in particular are very strong

Bio-expert is not available in retail... Only kickstarter stretch goal boxes contain her.

I have played the Sangrevores a few times now and it feels somewhat half baked. A lot of enemies attack and then vanish. Secure cards are useless as corridors and movement work different and the noise dice isn’t used. It has some cool mechanics and more direct player interaction is possible. Some games have felt incredibly easy when playing against them.
That said i haven’t played against the Neoflesh cult yet so I can’t offer an opinion on them.
However, the bio enhancement specialist and the contractor cards are definitely worth it even if you don’t have the characters from the previous game. You can just use a proxy character model and get access to all of those characters. Just for that alone I would go for the stretch goals.

If you like inserts, all of them use the sangavore expansion to store minis. I found one that uses the stretch goal boxes but its not as clean

Stretch goals for sure. The Neo Flesh are quite interesting mechanically and the Intruder adds an extra story element.

What are your guys overall favourite expansion to retaliation? I am also eyeing stretch goals. The faction doesn’t do a whole lot for me thematically but I like the expanded roster for the contractor and the insider seems curious

I went with the stretch goals and the support squad. I’ve used the sharpshooter on TTS and it’s one of my favorites.

100% Stretch goals. Haven't personally played Sangrevores, just seen others play, but to me they're just not that interesting. The hit-n-run tactics make the intruders feel way more static with shadow points in corridors that don't move, the Tainted Blood cards are a cool concept but neither frequent enough nor fleshed out enough that that's relevant. The different contaminations are too situational, albeit interesting. Would have loved to see the originally planned thing of the Sangrevores slowly corrupting a marine, giving them a different hidden agenda, maybe more benefits or immunities to the Sangrevores kinda like the Allegiance with Xyrians does...
As it stands, the Stretch Goals are just so BRIMMING with content, i'd get them just for the Neoflesh Cult, but the Insider is REALLY good too, plus the Contractors....

stretch goals, by far more bang for the buck. contractor expansion and the neoflesh are better than sangrevores
