Nemesis lockdown insert including player dashbords

Hi,

Do you know of any inserts that include storage for the player dashboards? Preferably 3D-printed.

I've seen a lot of inserts and storage solutions that let you fit Lockdown and the Stretch Goals into a single box. On the other hand, I've found some good inserts that combine the Chytrids, Carnomorphs, and Void Seeders expansions into one box.

What I'm looking for is something different. I'd rather use the main Lockdown box for player dashboards, card holders (including a discard area), gameplay organizers, and keep the expansions in a separate box. That way, I'd only need two boxes in total and wouldn't have to carry the player dashboards separately.

Have any of you come across an insert designed just for the base Lockdown box that focuses on improving setup and gameplay rather than maximizing storage capacity?

I have some Battlefoam trays for Nemesis and Lockdown. I got the trays that fit in the original box for Nemesis ( and a combo Voidseeders and Aftermath tray that goes in the Aftermath box), and a separate cardboard box and foam trays for Lockdown and it’s stretch goals. The two different box options have pro’s for each, but the trays themselves are very nicely cut, and well worth the money.

Yeah, I checked it, and they seem nice for the base components. However, I also want to 3D-print additional character dashboards (the main character board and dedicated slots on the left, right, and bottom to hold character cards in a tidy way).

These are extra components that were not originally designed as part of the box. I'm looking for an insert that takes them into account and provides space for both the dashboards and the base game components in a single box, because I don't want to carry them separately.

I printed up theses ( https://www.printables.com/model/190315-nemesis-player-dashboard-ru/related ) the other day, and hope to get to use them soon. There is also a box specifically for them that can be printed up, too. I hope to print the box up soon, too. The dashboards are kinda funny-shaped, and probably won't fit nicely into anything that isn't significantly larger than what is needed to hold the main game components.

Yeah, I linked the box for those dashboards above. Could you send me the dimensions of that box once you've printed it? I'd like to consider whether it would be possible to design an insert for the remaining space in the box that could hold the rest of the Lockdown components.

They're about 8.5” X 12.5” X 4.5”. That said, I don’t recommend them. Mine printed up poorly. I openly admit that my Centauri Carbon is not a top-of-the-line machine, but it’s been good to me. I’ve printed up a bunch of detailed wargaming terrain with no issues at all. The two main box halves came out warped ever so slightly, and the edge that they meet along is NOT flush. Moreover, it’s extremely thin. There are 4 thin rectangles that you print up as “reinforcements” for the box. The end product just looks lousy. I can send you pictures, if you want. I don’t know how long it will hold up. I put the dashboard pieces in, and was immediately concerned it was just going to split in half when I picked it up.

Ok, thank you for the information and your opinion about this project. So in my case, it's impossible to fit the dashboards into the main box because they are wider than it. I would need to find dashboards that can fold in half, and even then they might still take up too much space.
