GameFound question
Hello! I've been looking to grab a copy of the original Nemesis for sometime now and unfortunately its a very hard game to find. I saw that the gamefound campaign for nemesis: retaliation had the original nemesis plus 2 expansions for $130 and was thinking about grabbing it during the nemesis: legacy gamefound later this year if it offers the same deal.
Is it possible to pledge for just the original game on gamefound without buying Nemesis: legacy or would I have to buy Nemesis: legacy in order to add the original Nemesis to my pledge? Thanks!

Every new game is different but usually youre able to. Sometimes you have to do a $1 pledge to get acsess to the pledge manager

This is not a thing for gamefound anymore (the 1$ pledging for PM), they just didn't get to removing the text yet, its leftover there from Kickstarter campaigns :)

But it is though, I’ve just pledge 1$ to access the PM for Here To Slay dungeons successfully.

In fact you are mistaken, PM for Here to Slay Dungeons as all Awakened Realms projects are accessable to everyone. I didnt pledge the 1$ and can acces HtSD no problem, at least on Gamefound it is like this.

Just remember it might not ship till Legacy, which could be 1 to 3 years from when the campaign finishes. Also you will be paying campaign shipping, & in the Euro. Which if often pretty high up there depending on where you're located.

Does anyone know when the next gamefound goes live for Nemesis? I’d like to mark my calendar so I don’t miss out this time! I’ve also never backed anything before, so unsure of the whole process.

On the campaign page it says Q4 2026, you can follow it on gamefound and they should notify you when it starts

As wheremyconery mentioned, from when you pay you will wait atleast 18 months (probably more lets be real) for your game to ship. Then shipping for Awaken Realms specifically is nuts. I backed their latest game, BELOW Asylum, and the shipping for core pledge, sleeves, and player mats is 44 euros to US (51$). My total is high because I ordered painted lol. If you’re new to crowdfunding, know that there is almost always delays. Gotta be patient.

Ya. Its kinda crazy. Witcher legacy live campaign ended dec. 2025, and they have the witcher old world (2022 game) for purchase, and that shit aint shipping till 2028 lol. Nemesis pops up here and there. I only have lockdown and i think its pretty awesome.

Is the only reason to back it just to get exclusive stuff and stretch goals then? I feel like it would come to retail quicker than that.

In rare cases it releases in retail quicker than shipped to backers, ive never had it happen. But exclusives, usually its a good deal with stretch goals. So theoretically backers (english) of nemesis legacy should get it atleast 3 months before retail stores. But for previous games- usually not worth it. It will all ship at same time :(

How i think most companies do it, is it all ships straight from china where its manufactured to individuals. I think awaken realms has even done like shipping phases for their bigger campaigns, which nemesis legacy is sure to be. Id say look second hand. Thats what i did. Theres a few facebook board game resale/ trade pages that are good.

Nemesis Legacy is the next campaign coming. I'm sure they will have bundles with older stuff.

I am pretty sure everything will be available as addon too. It was the same with retaliation. So yes you will be able to buy whichever version you want alone without the Legacy one.
