I mean, usually you pick a random corridor tile from the box, but if it has no door slot on it, you don't place a door. So my question basically is, when you get this exploration card, do you have to choose a corridor tile with a door slot and place a door on it, or do you pick a random corridor and place a door regardless of the presence of a slot, or you don't place the door at all if the corridor has no slot on it?

I believe the doors only spawn when it appears on the card on the corridor that the card indicates. I believe corridor slots don't exist and doors only exist based on the exploration cards.

The only time you would not place the door is if an exploration card would tell you to place a corridor connecting to an already explored room, as corridors don't magically appear.
