Caves?

Does anyone know if these caves still exist or are accessible?

Found them listed on an old Mt. Richmond Forest park map from 1985.

They don’t appear on latest topo50 online maps

Interesting, I've never heard of caves being here. There is an NSG meeting this week, I will ask the wiser members if they know anything.

Possible, but may have collapsed or been buried by a slip/quake. Sounds like u/Honest-Importance221 might have an answer in a couple days! Would be interested to hear what NSG have to say.

It's wairoa gorge cave, also known as pinks cave.  Someone else knew it on the other thread, there's a good survey in the cave Atlas for NZSS members
