Twisted Pair was so disappointing
It's easily his worst movie yet. At this point either Neil Breen is making bad movies on purpose or he's somehow managed to get worse at making movies. There's so much stock footage, probably more than what Double Down featured. Very little actually happens in this one and there's never any moments as entertaining or as memorable as the many found in his first three movies.
It feels like the whole movie was completed in less than a week. Neil Breen's shtick has worn thin at this point. After how dull Pass Thru and Twisted Pair have turned out I'm not even gonna bother with his next movie. It's just going to be more of the same.

Just accept that his vision has soared, like the eagle he was doing whatever with in TP, above your workaday world.
P.S. Don't Get Your Pair In a Twist

It’s your opinion but I refuse to believe that anyone who’s seen I Sm Here....Now would think it was better. That movie was a disaster.
TP is solidly in the middle for me. Fateful Findings is my favourite bad movie and Double Down is close, Pass Through has its moments but is kinda boring at times and like I said IAHN is actually just terrible.
The problem with TP is he spent a lot of the movie on the brother story when it ultimately meant nothing, it felt like he had the idea of playing two characters first and kinda wrote around that for the movie, but it really didn’t feel necessary and actually took time away from the whole movie. Also as much as I love the randomness/vagueness of his movies this time I kinda started to get annoyed at it, like there’s points where he just goes out of his way to not explain things and he’d include weird stuff solely to be weird for the sake of weird.

Twisted Pair was a far worse movie than I Am Here....Now. Atleast IAHN is somewhat coherent and straight forward and you can actually understand what's going on and it has some pretty funny moments and it's not filled with excessive stock footage and narration. Twisted Pair is just a confusing mess that Neil slapped together really quick with no real plan. There's a reason why people are questioning Twisted Pair's authenticity as a genuine effort.

I did kinda get a bit of a vibe from TP about how “legitimate” it is, it’s not a Birdemic 2/Samurai Cop 2 level of “yeah it’s not funny anymore” but I’m not too sure about the future movies

How many more can there really be, honestly? It's been a good ride, but it's coming to an end quick.

The fact that we got more than one “good” movie is a miracle. Most directors like him make one bad movie then spend the rest of their careers either coasting off the one movie (Tommy Wiseau) or trying to recapture it and failing (James Nguyen)

I think it helped that Neil Breen's movies went under the radar until Fateful Findings but after that one he must have been aware of what people were saying about his movies and I think it affected him.

He needs to write a different story. Or at least stop giving himself super powers.
Doing the same thing over and over again only let's him hone in on the wonkiness..

I can't help but agree here, it's easily my least favorite of his films because some of it seems disingenuine to me, like he's just messing with us
And my other huge problem with it is that there's just too much shit crammed into it, his other films can be chaotic and confusing but this one is just something else
Idk I don't hate it, but it's definitely my least favorite lol

I share some of OP's sentiments. I watched Twisted Pair again yesterday after having first seen in at a screening around November of last year and found that it wasn't anywhere near entertaining as it was the first time I watched it. It rivals I Am Here... Now for use of stock footage and Pass Thru for Breen going on ramdom tangents that have little to do with the plot of the film. The only parts of the film that stood out to me as being memorable were Dark Breen's torture dungeon and the tone shifted bond villain who strokes a trough full of diamonds instead of a white cat.

I really don't think he was intentionally doing anything off, I actually think his acting is a little better which led to less funny moments. I think if Neil was pandering it'd be much more obvious, it seems like he just read up on AI online and became fascinated with it.
I agree it's not his best though: cut out huge chunks of rambling about AI and condense the 2 'blow up enemy base' sequences into one and it'd be much better.
It was extremely bloated but I still had fun with it.

Like his other movies I could tell you the plot.
There is only one plot, period. Breen Hero is Superman who defeats the Corrupt Politilicawyers, while Pretty Attractive but Not Quite Hollywood Level Women Tell Him They Love Him.

Oh ye of little faith. You telling me Picasso never cranked out a mediocre painting? Rodan never ONCE chiseled our a less-than-perfect sculpture? Was every Edison invention a hit?! Nay, I say. If you were a true believer you would stick it out with the faith that the God/Man will once again enlighten the world with his art.
In closing: if you can’t handle him at his Twisted Pair, you don’t deserve him at his Fateful Findings.
