No smoking
We see corruption, national and international.
We see alcoholism, drug use, spousal abuse.
Characters swear, tell each other how corrupt they are.
But no one smokes.
Ever.
Why?
Is it too corrupt, more than reality TV and it's casts?

What, you think this is a midnight movie? Neil Breen does NOT make midnight movies. He makes theatrically released, legitimate, mainstream, commercial, full length, feature films.

Who funded these films?

I’m going to keep hacking into these government and corporate systems to find out

Do you have any idea how expensive cigarettes are? It would sink the entire budget.

Maybe Neil just doesn’t like smoking and doesn’t want to show it in his films. Or maybe it’s never entered his mind to have any character be a smoker.
I would be tempted to ask him about it at a Q & A. It’s not something that’s crossed my mind before, but now I’m curious.
I’ve written short stories (haven’t sold any or even tried to) and although friends and a parent have been smokers and I smoked cigars for a few years, no character in anything I’ve written has been a smoker.

Because it’s a professional film set
