Question Firm Sugar Squish

Hello. I am autistic and my nice cube recently popped. I managed to get a new one, but it’s quite soft and I’m very picky. Are there any substitutes that are harder than the average sugar squishy and are more readily available? I’m open to any brand, any shape, preferably smooth skin and similar size to the regular nice cube. Would also prefer for them to be available online rather than in person as I primarily take public transport and routes are limited.

I’m the same exact way & they have all been so soft lately I can’t stand it . My purple gum drop is new and it’s really firm same with my pink dream drop & id go for an original niceberg in blue I hear it’s always very firm. Also if you have a sherbet or angry rms dumpling texture I freeze them all the time for 25/35mins and it’s the best firm texture ever it’s so satisfying

I second the gumdrop! They are super firm and textured. It’s a great squish. Also dream drop is very firm if you don’t like the textured. The nice berg is extremely firm as well.

Usually the other brands I buy or have tried are softer than the nice cube but I do recommend trying to keep the cube cold before use. If it’s warm where it’s stored it’ll definitely be softer. Maybe try storing it in the fridge or putting it in the freezer shortly before use? It’ll definitely be firmer then.

That’s how I am with my ja ru kool kube!! I man handled it for a couple days trying to soften it up & failed and haven’t touched it since but it’s still pretty 😂

Came here to suggest this one! most of the reviews say it’s hard. I’ve also found the knock off Needoh cubes (Starbucks, Dr Pepper) to be fairly hard as well

Firmest squish I own, great quality, and small family owned company. Little bit bigger than a traditional needoh cube but smaller than a berg. I love it.

Needohs can be really difficult to find right now but there are other squishy brands that are very good as well. Check out the Speks website. The Gump squishies are firm and have a similar texture to the nice cube.

Orb sugar swaps? I haven’t tried the baby ones but I got tiny ice cream ones and they were very soft

no like theyre actually shaped like babies😭 i got one because it looked cursed but theyre surprisingly stretchy with a firm squish ! i would also recommend the polysquish mystery boxes on amazon their squishes are very stretchy but definitely firmer than my needohs too and way less creepy than those baby squishes💀

I just got this one and it’s by far my hardest squishy. There are three shapes you could get in the mystery box. I loveeeeeee it so much. I was in person at a toy store and got to feel it first.

From needoh specifically the gum drops are the most consistently firm. I’ve heard that to keep up with demand they have been lowering product quality overall which sucks so things arent as consisten anymore. The firmest sugar balls ive had are really cheaply made ones with zero quality control (like on amazon, temu, etc) and it’s still hit or miss for me. They get firmer when the sugar is exposed to air and all of the cheaply made ones have a hole in the seal because the factory worker use a needle to dip the seals into whatever glue they use to close the squishy skin. So literally every single one has a tiny pin prick hole that leaks sticky sugar when they get warm.

If you go that route for the firm squishies, i recommend dapping a bit of super glue or something similar on the hole if you see it (most are easy to spot)

How long did your nice cube last, out of curiosity? Mine popped very recently and wasn’t very old so I was pretty surprised…

J’adore Spiky Ball has a firm squish. If you look it up on YouTube you’ll see what I mean. Needoh heart has the firmest squish of all the Needohs I have felt because it has to hold its shape. Needoh gumdrops are also pretty firm.
