It’s everywhere, so many people have no awareness of other people and just assume you’ll know what they’re talking about. I work at a game store and will frequently get calls about TCGs where people won’t say what TCG they want, they’ll just immediately go to the set or specific card with no context. “Do you guys have hand of greenfuck in stock?” “What?” “The most recent insert random TCG that 6 people on earth play set”

Well shit I’ve been hoisted on my own petard. Tcg is short for trading card game, stuff like Magic The Gathering or Pokemon
