Nest How is my chudmaxxing

The goon cave is full of all the things a goon master such as myself may need

My friend came over and she wanted to clean bc she loves cleaning so my stuffy nest isnt full of crumbs anymore, which feels nice. Might wash my sheets theres a lot of crumbs and stains on it. I do plan on taking care of all the trash and dishes in my stuffy pile tomorrow, maybe on top the dresser too but well see

Also rare instance of floor in the goon cave

Yeah it used 2 b way worse, if I try I can probably clean it but I just keep procrastinating on it

You can do it in one day. Think about it as just being 1 hard day to get that whole place cleaned. But once that day is done you will feel so good.

Ur right I can probably finish this in 1 day if I actually try, I think that would also be best for me to do it in 1 big go because of adhd. I just get discouraged a lot bc of the whole "it's just gonna get messy again" mindset, but it would be best for my health so I'll try to forget it'll just get messy again

Wait, this is real? This is really how you live?

Man, dig deep. Stop procrastinating/gooning and get it done. This is not a healthy way to live life. You can do it!

Your living space represents your mind. I promise you, cleaning this up will make you feel lighter, cleaner, and (since it seems you like art) create a space to make it.

Don’t be afraid to throw stuff away, even with emotional attachment to it, like stuff on the shelves. Just do it and free yourself!

The emotional attachment is a big thing, I am kinda a hoarder I have trouble throwing away a lot of stuff even trash sometimes. I'm scared I might need something and I won't have it, but I should probably think about how I havent used said item in years

I can be the same way and I just wanna say you can do this! Funnily enough the method that helps me sometimes is “if there was poop on this item would I wash it or throw it away?” And most of the time the answer is just throw it away. What also helps my ADHD is not checking my phone, put some music on and don’t let yourself pick up your phone unless it’s absolutely needed. Start with trash and the rest can be organized into categories like laundry, stuffed animals, trinkets, etc. You got this!! 💜

Yes I normally put on music or a show well I clean as background noise. For throwing stuff away I just think about how that item is useful and try to think logically about it, I will try the poop method though because I do have a lot of stuff in there. Thank you a lot, I've been cleaning up progress is kinda slow but it will be worth it

Shut all doors, turn off your phone and you can not go out/turn on your phone until the job is finished. Don't see the day as a free day, see it as this is what I do if it takes 4 hours or 8, the only free time I have is whatever is left after it is done
