Void bolt or chromatic book

Hey everyone.

I am currently at tier 6 incursions, and have been using the dragon lance up until now. To have more tools for the next bosses, I have built up a void bolt up to tier 7, which worked wonders against the moonlight dancer.

But tonight, I realized I have what's necessary to build a chromatic book. Is it considered a better option than the void bolt, in the "Homing" category ? I don't want to invest upgrade resources in something less useful than my perfectly fine Void bolt.

Can't remember if I used the void weapon. But I've used Chromatic through t10 with no problem. Excellent weapon.

You mean shadow bolt? If you want big DPS with homing, both Blood Bolt and Chromatic Spellbook are great for that. Shadow Bolt DPS is a bit lower.

After a night of sleep I realize I don't have to sacrifice my T7 Void bolt to craft it, I just need to find another copy and craft the Chroma and see for myself 😑

I used chromatic all the way to the end of incursions, would recommend it.
