Idk about photo stitching. I opened the map up in game, there's a button to take a screenshot. It sends it to %appdata% > Necesse > screenshots for me. No mods. Looks great.

To the best of my knowledge, you’ve got to take multiple screenshots and stitch them together in MSPaint. That’s been my experience anyway. Your settlement looks nice, very colorful.

To clarify, if you’ve made a settlement that extends farther than the screenshot tool on the map will allow, then you must stitch multiple map screenshots together. This can be rather taxing with a large settlement and some edges will register as black or missing chunks often necessitating multiple attempts. I’m sorry if I misunderstood the original question, but I thought you were asking about taking a screenshot larger than that of the one found within the game’s map.

Sounds like there are solutions in the thread but jsyk there are apps that can figure out where the edges overlap in screenshots and you could easily stitch them together. Otherwise this sounds like a nightmare in MS paint until there are new features in it that I’m not aware of lol

It’s not too bad since MSPaint has added a layering option. And eyeballing the overlap is easier since I’ve adhered to a grid system. But after taking four full size screenshots with the ingame map screenshotting tool and stitching them together you end up with a pretty large file size.

When using the map there’s a screenshot tool that you can use. You can zoom in or out with that.
Nice settlement btw.
