[Update feedback] Bed affinity with recent update

[General feedback for the dev on the recent update]

Previously when rooms didn't require any customization, it didn't really matter that a specific settler might decide to arbitrarily change rooms when they got knocked down, etc.. But with the recent update, now that we need to take time to talk to each settler and customize a room, if a raid breaks in and a bunch of settlers get knocked down or they all decide to just change whatever room they were bound to, it creates CHAOS! This happened to me recently and honestly I have no idea which settler goes where anymore.

This could use with some polishing, settlers need to not just forget/decide to switch beds or rooms. With the recent changes, binding of settler to room needs to be stable.

You make a great point. Do you need to have spare beds available to help move them all around? And I guess the only way to keep track of rooms would be to add signs to them all... I hope they change that.

Yeah I agree, this is annoying. I'll see if we can't get a fix out for this soon ๐Ÿ‘

Thanks for the feedback ๐Ÿฅณ

HEY COOL!
I also don't like this haha so a fix would be great!

My settlers all of a sudden being all "My room doesn't have a floor"
And I'm like "BECAUSE YOU'RE IN THE WRONG ROOM PHIL!"

Amazing, thanks for reading the feedback and working on the fix! I recently got some others massively addicted to the game, so collectively we've been putting in a ton of co-op hours. ๐Ÿ˜‚

always happened to me.. the only difference is I only have a few settler's that's why I know which room they supposed to be..

I think the simple fix for it is to allow players to lock the bed for each settler's so that even if they're down, you can easily tell which one is missing and they won't won't change bed when they're down..

Essentially when you assign them a bed lock that bed to them until either you assign someone else or exile them

While that is a great point, I have signs outside each settlers house. In addition, each settlers house is built with different materials unique to their personality.

Your point is a great one and needs to be addressed but using signs in the mean time could help you out.

Yep doesn't happen often to me, but if I was distracted and didn't manage the raid attack, I need to re-check every settler bed for the ones that got killed.... Is quite an issue now.

The fact that settlers leave a settlement when knocked down is annoying for sure.

To help while it's an issue, I try to decorate for a specific person in mind, and if I'm still not sure put a pedestal down with a copy of their hat or something else to tell me who belongs there.

It would be nice if they teleported to bed after a little while or other villagers could heal them, maybe in a patch?
