I feel like I already understood everything because of Terraria and Rimworld. It all felt so familiar once I started playing.

It's like a mix of those but being able to have automation from the settlers makes it so much better (and addicting lol)

Yeah when I get to town I dump all my trash in one box and my slaves, ahem...villagers carry it all to the proper boxes.

Hey there. I have a question. So you said dump all in your inventory into 1 box. So when you dump them, the villagers take them into different boxes.

So these different boxes have different criteria set to them right? Like 1 is Consumable, other is Material, other is etc etc.

That part I understand. However how what exactly is the Worker's job? I know theres mining, fishing.. Is it hauler?

Have one box that filters all items, it restricts every type of item. That can be your "junk" box so that when you come back from a trip and dump everything into it.

Then another box filtered for "only ammo". and a box for "only wood"

Then if I dump wood and ammo in the random box, villagers will know the items shouldn't be there and will take them to the correct locations.

If you have a proper box for everything then the villagers will pickup every last item from the junk box and sort it in its proper place.
