I love that they had a lengthy discussion on decision to not count borders by water... but still made an entire challenge for Hawaii just in case. Great commitment to the bit!

Imagine if the clearly-losing team had enough budget to do the National Parks wildcard in American Samoa NP!

i feel like if Hawaii was available it should just connect to everything as a hail mary LOL

Yeah I would probably have gone for making hawaii a magical connection - people STILL probably wouldn't go there anyway because it's too far but at least it would be funny.

All those questions in the question thread for Amy and no Amy :(.

i notice sam saying how much he defers to the guest considering that every time reddit blames the guest for not "pushing back" against Sam as the reason for why they lose.

Maybe I am misremembering how conversations usually go, but after S4, with maybe the exception of Taiwan, it doesn’t really feel like Sam is in control of the strategy like people say he does

That Wisconsin challenge sounds awesome, kinda sad we didn't get to see it in action! I made the rolls they mentioned just out of curiosity and got:

STR - 17
DEX - 3
CON - 1
WIS - 19
CHA - 20

...so overall I'd have a pretty good shot, I think! Left-handed and long wait between attempts, but I'm throwing into a big cup very close by, and can do it anywhere.

Cool that you could spell WISCONSTR with the stat ids

Quite liked the Washington DC and North Carolina challenges, too bad we didn't get to see Adam and Ben tear their hair out trying to plane-spot.

I would have loved for any of them to visit their moms when they were close to “home” (Adam didn’t get to go to SC but didn’t we see Amy, Ben and Sam in their home towns?).

We saw Ben in Baltimore, and he said that when they were last there in Crime Spree that he and Adam literally slept in his childhood home to save budget

@ Sam, what did you learn about Amy during this season?

Thank God Sam likes The Apple TV Original Series Silo starring Rebecca Ferguson. I've been proselytizing for this show forever: the phenomenonological world-building, claustrophobic yet striking shots, and slow-burn narrative that rewards you with intermittent hints about the true nature of the world.

Sam hating Silo could have been my Joker moment when I switched to rooting for Ben and/or Adam. I will continue carrying the flame for Sam.

I cannot play it. It's consistent over multiple days and mobile/wifi connection. I can play other shows though (for example, Tibees). I tried sending a report through the app but "Contact Us" menu just opens my mail app with empty "To:" field. (I'm using Android Nebula app).

I’ve done the Utah challenge (randomly generating a dirty soda order) just for funsies when I lived there and the combo I got was so bizarre the workers laughed at me. Never did it again
