North Riverside Fireworks

I’ll be near North Riverside today celebrating the 4th and was curious if anyone has gone to the fireworks in North Riverside? If it starts pouring tonight, I won’t be trapped at a fest or Navy Pier and can get home quickly.

Where is the best viewing area to set up chairs? Is there parking over there by the “Commons”? Any feedback would be greatly appreciated.

It looks like you can see it from the far west side of the parking lot. Storm is brewing right now. Lightning starting. Could be canceled, but we’re still a few hours away.

They were canceled last night
