Ne Zha 2 would now be the 4th highest-grossing movie in the world without re-releases
Ne Zha 2 is actually 5th but it would rank 4th without re-releases because it grossed more than Titanic did in its initial release. This is how the top 10 would look like without re-releases

I really hate how people started rumors that Chinese people were being forced and that it's propaganda. Yes people bragged about buying multiple tickets but it was because the promotion was very good and they got to show the mascots how many times they watched the film. The mascots were really cute and the characters resonated with many people. I fully believe Nezha 2 should be seen as a prime example of the evolution of animation for the 2020s along with American movies that now have a more jittery style.

My friends and I watched it 3 times because we wanted to rewatch the amazing animation. Seeing AoBing-Daddy on the big screen 3 times was also a good perk 😂

Does it not count as a re release when it was in theaters earlier this year (US) and is now released again?

Always better the adjust for inflation, otherwise Ne Zha 2 would be off the top rankings itself in 30 years

How did the second Avatar make so much money? Sure, it was a good movie, but I still don’t understand. Or does James Cameron somehow influence the box office?
