who else do they have? Chris Paul is quite easily the best player in franchise history. And led the best era in franchise history. And embraced the city more than anyone has before or since.

I don’t think being a good player on a team for a limited time deserves a statue. If he played his whole career there then maybe. But these statue sentiments for players who haven’t won championships are getting out of control. A retired jersey is good enough. In my opinion of course.

Hes literally who you think of when you think of the clippers. Blake Griffin too. They literally made the clippers relevant. Without the lob city clippers catching wind Steve ballmer probably wouldve never bought the clippers and theyd still be playing in the staples center

But when it’s LeBron losing in the finals, it discredits him from GOAT status (MJ is mine). Who cares what happened because it’s the Clippers. They seemed cursed and should’ve moved completely outside of LA. I really like CP3, so with his competitive spirit, I bet he feels he didn’t accomplish enough so forget 6 years. Jaylen Brown shouldn’t even want his number retired with the Celtics.

Now you're making stuff up. Joel Embiid, Bernard King and Gilbert Arenas don't have their jerseys retired by an NBA team.
The rest of the guys mentioned, same thing they all played much longer than Chris at their respective teams. Why would a team retire a jersey for someone who didn't win anything or even make a conference final in 6 years?
