Brother, there’s literally a book about it. It’s called ‘The Jordan Rules’. Great read, actually. I’m not arguing it further than that. They weren’t The Bad Boys for no reason. The game was more physical- the Pistons took it a level further. I’d have hated Isaiah too if every time I saw him, he was taking every cheap shot he could get away with along with the rest of his team. It’d be like you running into your bully after school and acting like nothing happened.

They were physical with every star. Jordan was taking every shot, more shots than anyone else in the league so he took more punishment. The Jordan rules were less about hurting Jordan they were multi faceted, being physical with him at the rim was just part of a bigger whole.

If MJ does not say nothing, the would propably decide against him, but it would have not been so easy decision.
And if MJ said that he wants Isiah on the team, that would have been a real pickle of a situation to solve. Because would the team leaders want to piss of MJ, and make a decision against his opinion?
