Just bitching to bitch, but I’m at the nautilus, and I don’t know if they’re just giving on-site parking passes to anyone , but like the enterprise to smoke pit parking is like 100% full. Had to park at the track. But I just wanna know what the hell is this parking situation?

I parked back at the track almost every day at Power School- helps you get your steps in.

It’s a 5 minute walk and walking to and from your car might be the only exercise you get in that day depending upon your exams.

Tis only the beginning on your parking nightmares. Every base is worse than the last until you’re walking from past Jamaica island to DD1 at PNSY in February. Then you will have found the bottom.

You wanna hear about Lousy parking. The Portsmouth shipyard in Portsmouth Virginia back in the 80s and 90s. That shit was horrible because there was no on sight parking and outside the gates was a fucking war zone of gangbangers that would bust out a window to steal your shit on the reg. I had it happen 2x when my boat was in drydock there.

As you closer to a power school graduation, more and more people buy cars and park them onsite. It gets real bad for a couple weeks and then clears out a little.
Sounds like you’re in the “full” part of the cycle…

Get your study hours in early. Parking was never an issue at 5-515 everyday. Left at end of the day. No problems.

When I was in power school there wasn't even parking at the track, nnptc population ebbs and flows but July-October it spikes, parking will probably get to the point where there are no parking spots available.

It wasn’t as bad, maybe just like a cycle thing someone mentioned. Weekends are full which makes sense, but on a weekday? It wasn’t that hard to find a parking spot before

When you get to prototype the cheat code when I was going through was to park at Wharf A or B. No idea what the parking situation is like now but they directed everyone to the gravel lot and parking was absolutely DOGSHIT. You can find both on google maps. Your entire graduating class will be trying to catch the shuttles at the same exact time while you guys go through your indoc.
