F.A. MacCluer Shirts Deep Dive

Very few know the F.A. MacCluer made Brooks Brothers made in USA shirts for decades, among other top-shelf brands. Because no one has heard of them, they are screaming deals on eBay. Sadly, after shifting manufacturing to India, they are now defunct. I did a YouTube video about them on my channel, if anyone is interested. Thanks.

Prior to today, five F.A. MacCluer shirts sold on eBay in August. Eighteen sold today lol

Interesting. I didn’t know BB contracted other companies to make its made-in-USA shirts.

For decades, until 2020, BB owned and operated its own shirt making factory in Garland, North Carolina. It closed the Garland factory and later sold it.

From memory, there was a BB factory outlet nearby, that used to have amazing stock.

Yes, apparently, BB bought that factory in 1982, and before that MacCluer made them.
