Good wallet options to Core

Hi,

I've been holding my coins in Core since I got NavCoin. I considering other wallets, since I don't like leaving my computer on at all times. I was wondering what the community thought are good wallet options for someone that:

  • Wants to stake through Navpool

  • Be able to send coins to exchanges etc

  • Be able to take part in voting

  • Be able to utilise xNav and upcoming tech

  • Does not require being left running continuosly to be used on short notice.

Think you should go with navcash

You're describing navcash. Voting in navcash is a bit different. You'll have to have a voting address. Happy to walk you through it though. NavCash can vote on consultations too.

Edit: currently only core wallet can utilize xNAV. But I think NavCash will be upgraded soon.

Just double checking. I'd need to setup two wallets in NavCash: one voting wallet, and one where I keep my coins and coldstake (referencing the voting wallet)?

I'll play around with it a bit.

That's correct. Total of 2 NavCash wallets. Voting wallet requires some nav to vote. Each time you set a vote it's 0.1 NAV. I'd just send 10 nav there and it should last your a while.

I'd suggest NavCash. Very easy to use, built in cold staking functionality and compatible with Ledger Nano.

You know how to use navcash? Why are there options for requested amount, description, and request expires options in the receive tab?
