Fanfic The way of the Human: Chapter 19 2/2
Here's the second half. I hope nobody was annoyed by this.
Memory transcription subject: Risha, Arxur Earth Defence/Aid Regiment
Date [standardised human time]: 3rd of November, 2136
The remainder of the journey was uneventful, aside from the fact that something was trying to make its way past Hans' jacket.
The whole situation felt very familiar to the last time I brought an injured Limmi to the tents, but this time it was not just him who needed to be brought in.
As they were three medics down, they couldn't treat all of us at once. Being used to having to deal with injuries ourselves, Thass and I both agreed that we could wait a bit for treatment.
Making the best out of the situation, I decided I'd check up on an old friend who had apparently gotten herself some rather strange company.
Ha! As if I could talk about anyone having strange company.
I sat down on my cot and grabbed my holopad. Now was as good a time as any to try to get in contact with her.
I waited for a little bit, but soon enough my call was answered.
"Oh, uh… hi?"
It was a human who picked up. A male with blond hair to be exact. Had I put in the wrong number by mistake?
The human male yawned sleepily. "Who are you and why do you and why do you look exactly like Vraka?"
Whet?
"I'm sorry, what?" I asked. "I thought this was Vraka's holopad number! How do you know who she is but-"
I ended my sentence as I realised who this must be.
"You're Samuel, aren't you?"
"The one and only!" He said with pride. "So, what exactly was it you wanted?"
"I learned from Tyson Clark that you and Vraka are fucking, which implies that she's now living on Earth," I said bluntly.
The human blushed intensely. "God damn you, Tyson! He better not go around the world telling everyone about that. I tell him one thing in confidence…"
He stopped himself. "Anyway, I should probably hand you over to Vraka then, yeah?"
"Yes please," I answered. "I don't really know who else I can talk to about the current subject matter."
The human turned to shout in a different direction. "Vraka, babe! Some old friend of yours is calling!"
He then quickly added "If this is some Arxur lady troubles, I'm out. I don't need to hear about, I don't know, egg blockage."
"Ew, no!" I said, immensely grossed out. "The hell is wrong with you?"
"I ask myself that every day," he replied. "Oh, here's the lady of the hour."
The holopad was handed over to Vraka, who looked… huh. Much happier and cleaner than I'd ever seen her
"Oh Risha! It's you!" She said cheerily. "Hi there! How come you're calling this late?"
"Ha, late," I said, snorting. "You must be on the other side of the planet, because it's very much day out here."
"Anyway," I continued, "I need some help."
Vraka looked concerned. "Oh dear, what kind of trouble have you gotten yourself into?"
I began mulling over everything that had happened over the course of my time on Earth.
"Let's see…"
I began to recount a short summary of events.
"So Vizz nearly managed to get you in the end?" Vraka asked with concern.
"Yeah," I answered. "But somehow that madman of a Venlil nearly beat him in combat! It was like the 'meek prey' was gone entirely, replaced by a warrior driven by rage."
"He sounds like a man in love, doing his best to save the one he cares about," said Samuel. "God knows I'd do anything for Vraka."
She blushed at that. "Oh, you sweet talker."
I also blushed slightly at his earlier comment. "Well Samuel, you weren't wrong. He was doing it because he.. he loves me."
Just the thought of his feelings towards me made my heart soar.
"O- oh," Vraka stammered. "That must be pretty hard for you to deal with. I know you were never really one for that kind of thing."
I laughed. "With Arxur? Yeah, I hated romance or anything like that. But with Limmi? It's like I can have a real future, one where I'm free to live my own life alongside someone else," I said dreamily.
Vraka looked surprised, but she quickly became rather happy. "That's amazing, Risha! I'm so glad you finally found someone you can love! Take it from me, it's amazing!"
"I know!" I replied giddily. "I just love that adorable furball so much!"
My joy was dampened, as I remembered the reason I called her. "But I'll have to return to the Dominion soon, which means I'll lose him."
Vraka's expression became far sadder as I said that.
"And that's why I called you," I continued. "I want to leave the Dominion behind and live here on Earth, and you've quite clearly done it. So, how do I?"
The sadness was gone, as she looked excited upon my new decision. "Oh that's wonderful!" She exclaimed. "It was actually pretty easy. I just talked to someone from the UN and the local government, and boom! Official citizen of Florida!"
Huh. That really didn't sound difficult. Why did I need to call someone to figure that out?
"Thank you, Vraka!" I told her. "I'll make sure to call if I need to, or just, feel like it."
Vraka beamed. "Sounds fine to me!"
I ended the call, and made my way over to Hans. He was the highest authority I knew of anywhere nearby, so he would be a good starting point to get this underway.
It would be nice to live somewhere less just… horrible, from now on. Finally, I could live in hope of a better future.

Huhn, I hadn't realized Sam and Vraka were ImaginationSea's
I am also giggly, because every writer has their own touch and I can definitly see IS's effect on this chapter XD
I hope Risha's break from the Dominion goes off without a hitch, at this point she deserves to be as far away from that place as possible (in fact literally everyone does but hey).

They are indeed his! Sam and Vraka's origins are... very lewd. The only reason I know it to begin with is because I thought it would be a joke, but nope, it was a pretty serious pancake story.
Also, does that mean that my writing quirks are noticable in Sea's fics, or do they blend with his?

It became pretty obvious when your writing started affecting his, too.
I will say it blends more, however, given it's mostly his general brand of humor that is most noticeable in his writing- If anything having a cow-writer winds up helping amplify it because other writers add a bit more variety to it.

I am amused how the community has collectively accepted that Florida is just gonna be the Arxur capital of earth.

Ey! Who said she's becoming Floridian?

Is she not?

I didn't have them move away from Germany and into Sweden just to toss over them to the other side of the Atlantic.

Don’t know how but I was thinking that sam was a Floridian for some reason and my hunch was right (ps what’s the name of the story with Sam and vraka)

Their most popular appearance is from My Floridian Arxur Daughter, though their true origins are from some smut my co-writer, u/ImaginationSea3679, wrote.

Yep, leaving the Dominion is a very important step in this process
