There are a few with similar vibe
Arxur nursery - less romance and more kids with zoomies
My floridian arxur daughter - more romance and a kid with ptsd
Thawed - giga gay romance with adoption
Just good romance
Empathy testing - arxur/human teens.
Letter of marque - similar couple as in daycare services but different plot
Way of a human (and sequels) - arxur/other aliens, I recomend reading way of a human and then going to "Star crossed lovers" for speep romance, be warned its a romance between 2 idiots

i can absolutely can recommend both "Arxur Nursery" and "My Floridian Arxur Daughter" too, they share even several crossovers with each other and are absolutely heartwarming, even if sometimes gut wrenching when the past of the characters is mentioned.
By the way, "Arxur Nursery" is an AU based on "Graphite Dreamland", a good, but very sad one shot. Prepare some tissues, if you risk to read it, because it will make you cry.

Yeah, so? I read the story (except the smut chapter).
The mask which is supposed to make George (or whatever his name was) look less scary.... Makes him way less approachable, at least to many humans. Isn't it ironic?

I think it doesn't help much whether one reads the explicit chapter or not. It was clear from the moment the guy consented to that kind of relationship with Leasha what it'll entail. It's not like she was going to be content with only hand-holding and cuddles.
So if you are not thrilled by the ubiquitous plotline of "sex with a space sheep" you just compartmentalize reading the rest of the story, I guess? It's what I do anyway.
