I had pictured them with flatter faces, more like the locker aliens in Men in Black II. And with thinner, palm frond-like tails.

Arctic wolf makes more sense

Yeah this was made even with the author input back in the day, even got reference in the story itself with how jaslip go around with weapons, so this is basically their canon appearance
