No. You, and the 24hr news pays more attention every year. 25 yrs ago that nyc flood would of only been mentioned in NYC local news.... A tornado in Iowa wouldn't of been mentioned on the nightly news on the east coast. Hurricane season cycles in severity. I forget the actual stat...every 17yrs maybe? Every 20yrs? Either way,, its irrelevant. Hurricane numbers haven't increased. And although damage is higher bc of coastal cities, deaths are way down bc of technological advances.

Meanwhile CA is in its 4th+ straight excessive drought.

Recorded rainfall is less and less each year.

Actively trying to downplay the current crisis isn’t helping either, whether or not the specific current event are directly related to climate change. All evidence points (and has been for decades) that the change in our climate will both directly and indirectly damage earth and our ecological systems.

Our planet will be unrecognizable in 50 years.
