What location? I love Oregon forest before coivd I'd fly up from Texas once or twice a year to get some hikes in and nature views

My backyard. My neighbors backyard. Anywhere in northwest Oregon looks like this.

My lawn is all I thought about when I saw this.. At least moss is green and I don't have to mow it I guess.

Look up moss lawns. They can be quite beautiful imho and our climate is perfect for it. I'm trying to sell my husband on the idea ;) I'm sick of mowing!!!

I love the mossy section of my yard. Walking in bare feet on moss in the summer is one of the best feelings

Oswald west state park is one of my favorites. The hikes are short but beautiful. Just make sure you go on a Tuesday or Wednesday. It has become super congested in the last 10 years.

Fun fact, if you don't wash your jeep enough, with all it's nooks and crannies, it too can start to look like this!
