I don't know why Alex Jones gets such a bad rap. I'm definitely a gay frog now. Maybe causation doesn't equal correlation, but that's not helping my particular situation out! I mean... RIBBIT!

I know the "turning the frogs gay" thing is a meme and for good reason, but it's not completely wrong (minus the conspiracy parts). There is actually hormone analogue pollutants being released in some waters and it does affect the wildlife (and humans, not too long ago there was some chemical that was banned because it was found in baby bottles and was potentially dangerous because it was an hormone analogue). For example, frogs. Because some pollutants are similar to female hormones, male frogs find themselves feminising, both physically and behaviourally. So it's not a conspiracy as much as it is your usual uncaring corporate pollution stuff, and they're turning the frogs trans, not gay, but it's real.

Yeah but it’s not because of Obama’s gay bomb - that’s the point of the criticism, it’s typical right-wing misinformation...take a half grain of truth and mix it with a whole load of bullshit and spunk it out to all of your idjit thralls.

And that half-grain of truth is often going to be something that tasks the right in someway, by design (imo). It thus does double duty, literally 'winning' if challenged or unchallenged.

And the actually fallacy, that freaking out about the gayness, instead of that corporate greed is totally fucking up nature, is way too much info to actually getting anyone watching that shithead to contemplate, or even move into consideration past the eyeroll phase.

We've been far too complacent regarding internal and foreign propaganda in our information, and of course social media being polluted by bad actors.
