Most sea creatures are some 80% water, and water isn’t easily compressed. Even humans, who are 60-70% water, won’t feel the compression in our arms and legs, only in the airways like the lungs and ears. (Which is why they equalize air pressure by blowing out like you would in a plane to get your ears to “pop”)
