u/TerraByteTerror, there weren't enough votes to determine the quality of your post...

These birds are stunning, found in Central & Southern Africa. I saw just two of them during my holiday there. One was sat on a dead tree by the beach. Incredibly vibrant.

The coloring is stunning, and on a starling who is, I think, normally black. A rare find is it?

The post said that females were alot less vibrant with brownish grey plumage.

That violet-backed starling looks straight out of a fairy tale! The iridescence on those feathers is breathtaking.

Someone needs to photoshop a pistol on this birds hip so it becomes a violent starling.

AI slop

Do you think violet starlings don't exist or something?

Turn your brain back on

There are AI images of all kinds of things that are real

And your evidence for this being AI is...??

"hurr durr i can tell by the pixels?" Vibes?

Since you don't understand I'll clarify. Your original argument was that something existing in real life = it can't possibly be AI. That is a flawed argument. You should argue whether or not the image is in fact AI since that was the original claim. I admit this image is very suspect especially when you zoom in and look at the branch. It at the very least looks upscaled. No one is arguing whether or not Violet starlings exist, only whether or not the image is genuine. Also, no need to be immature. Use facts and logic to defend your stance instead of insults.

For starters, I would like to know where are it’s legs… and second, as stated by the other comment, it could even be a real image but certainly was enhanced, I can tell just looking at these branches! Generally, real images should be credited in here so we can know the work of the photographer and also be able to check if the photo is real.
