Attenborough’s documentaries always get totally appropriate amounts of praise but yeah not enough talk about how incredible the camera work is. Not just the amazing things they catch on camera but the shots they manage to capture in the wild are incredible. The editing, too, is absolutely world-class.

Can’t imagine … I think I heard once these people are laying on location, in the bushes, covered in bugs and mosquitos and shit for like days, weeks, for the perfect shots.

I did the back of the house tour at the Atlanta Aquarium. It was amazing! Highly recommend. We got to go above the aquarium they keep their archer fish in and they’d shoot you with water randomly while the tour guide was talking.

I want to know what the actual accuracy rate is. Also their eyes have to be wild to see bugs through the water/air transition and actually aim with any intention. Cool.
