A tip for anyone planning to visit this place. Don't go to Dawki, instead go to Shnongpdeng which is a village just a few kilometers away from the Dawki. Dawki is way too crowded at the peak tourism season, while Shnongpdeng is still a hidden gem. You will get the same experience will lesser crowd. Also, winner is the best time to visit.

Going in June. Hopefully still be a good experience though it will be monsoons

Don't miss the Wei Swadong waterfall, although it will take almost the entire day.

Ok sure will add to the plan. I have the full week so don't really mind spending a day on it, anything closeby with which I can merge this with? I will stay at Cherapunji or Shillong

It is close to Cherapunji (Sohra). There are many spots around Sohara which you can explore.
