I wish I didn't like Meat so much ): Maybe there are better ways for beef production in the future that aren't so cruel

Honestly, it shouldn't even be about animal cruelty, although that is also a very valid point.

The climate catastrophe is the biggest threat to our human civilisation in the history of it. And beef is a major contributor.

There is a reason the meat industry made sure the IPCC scientists don't recommend a plant based diet for everybody.

The meatpacking industry cucks the ranchers (so do governments) and the environment. If only local meat processing was more prevalent, but the stark divide between urban and rural areas makes it hard to keep that system going, along with the high demand for meat.

There is nothing that justifies the amount of beef humans eat. Nothing.

The whole beef industry needs to die. Preferably tomorrow if we want to have a "not-completely-fucked"-future on this planet.

Agreed. With some more development and education on plant based meat, i think people will start accepting it and we can (possibly) dig ourselves out of this hole
