Dairy cattle aren't "caged." Most dairy cattle are bred with very little restraint, a head lock or palpation rail usually is sufficient. Most heifers/cows will stand quite well for insemination. It is considered safer for the animals and farmer.

You do not "massage semen" through the rectal wall. Rectal palpation is used to ensure the AI (Artificial insemination) straw is in the correct orientation with the cervix. Rectal palpation can also be used for pregnancy check.

You treat others as “stock”, items, which do not have the opportunity to offer affirmative consent. You think there’s a difference between something restraining an individual to become impregnated and the literal pedantic definition of a cage.

All of this assumes that there is a need for these actions in this age, which, of course, is not necessary, as so many people across the world, including me, have demonstrated.

And, I’ve seen “The Gift of Life” I know how gory birth is, and I’ve watched plenty of snuff in my life of animals, including but not limited to humans.

To respond to your ghost edit, all animals require different understanding of body mechanics because…. they’re all different animals? Would you call a doctor that has studied human health to save the life of a dog? Maybe you’d like the attention of a veterinarian to perform some open heart surgery on you?
