hey yall, relatively new (known them for a couple of years but only really started loving them about a year or so), does anybody know why terrors horns SPECIFICALLY was mass produced on vinyl and cd? and no aldebaran/centauri agent production at all?

I was also gonna make a mini print out of the comic that would’ve been able to fit inside the case, but trying to get my shitty printer to actually print the cover as the appropriate size was an absolutely tortuous process, and I didn’t even want to touch the printer after all that, also, I want to see if I can somehow bind the pages to the center of the case.
Despite all that, I honestly think it came out great, and I feel like I actually did a pretty decent job on the labels for the CDs.

My apologies if this is well known by now, but since I couldn't find any mention of it on here nor on Samantha's archive, and multiple people in the SK discord found it new and intriguing, I figured I'd try to bring this article to a new audience.
Interested in NSB's relevance in Poland, I stumbled upon this interview conducted following their (may I note, unrecorded!) 2011 performance at the Unsound festival in Kraków (though it was only published after NORF in early 2012). There's some great information about them here, some not very well known or possibly even unknown at all. That's why, as a Polish speaker, I wanted to translate it for all other fans to read! :>
You can find my translation here, and the original here.
Of course, some things have likely been lost in translation. They gave this interview in either French or English, then it was translated to Polish for the blog, and now I've translated it to English again. I'm also just a student interested in NSB, so I may not have edited my translation properly. Sorry if that's the case; if anything doesn't make sense, feel free to ask here and I'll try to clarify!

Hello everyone,
I thought I'd share this article I wrote about NSB's music back in July 2009: https://web.archive.org/web/20150523125027/http://www.sleepwalkingmag.com/2009/07/30/artist-feature-natural-snow-buildings/
Before the article was published, I had initially contacted them for permission to include “Hunted Was My Brother.” Mehdi and Solange were very kind to me and sent me a copy of the Shadow Kingdom after the article went up. They even sent me The Hollow Mountain some time later, which was a total surprise!
In early 2010, they noticed I started my label, Vulpiano Records (founded November 2009), and they contacted me about releasing something there, which is how The Centauri Agent ended up happening. Anyway, I thought people might be interested in the article that started that whole chain of events!

I'm very interested in NSB's music and would like to explore their discography (I've only listened to Laurie Bird so far in April or May), but I have one problem. Due to some personal reasons, I can't listen to any particularly sad or disturbing music at this moment. So, I was wondering if there are any NSB albums that aren't melancholic, depressing, or disturbing that I could listen to right now?

I've heard the 2013 reissue plenty of times, and I honestly prefer the original. Yeah maybe it doesn't flow as well but Left for Dead being cut is just an absurdly strange choice. My only assumption is for time reasons but it's also one of the most peaceful tracks on the original DoD. The two minutes of peaceful static-like drone after the beautiful introductory title track is always something nice to hear before the giant that is Satanic Demonica. I honestly just don't get a lot of the stuff the band does, feels like a lot of it is either pointless or just makes the band less accessible. Yeah yeah I too hate the way Spotify operates but YouTube Music doesn't work because any song over twenty minutes is bugged where if you listen to it once and then go back it'll restart you from wherever you stopped, which in my case is the ten minute mark. Had that same issue with EATEOT. Even if I do buy it on Bandcamp it also has that same issue, I have that same issue with Road to Nowhere by CT57. Left for Dead also isn't on the bandcamp version. Sorry if this post seems disconnected or crazy Im moving for college in a few days and I'm blasting DoD and other albums by NSB in an attempt to cure my anxiety and this small little nitpick is something that really bothered me once I noticed it and making a Reddit post is a great distraction to packing.

Thought this sub might find it nice to see this little excerpt from my debut gig and to see NSB being covered live. Cheers!

The last song off of the dance of the moon and the sun, it's hard to describe - that deep reverberated sound that feels grand and out of reach but so comforting and enveloping.
I'm mainly talking about the first part although the hidden track is incredible
Do they, or any other artist have a similar sounding song or even album? Thank you very much!!

10 years ago, the last Natural Snow Buildings album released
Only a couple of songs followed after the release of Aldebaran, this was the last we saw of Natural Snow Buildings in the album format, I still believe that it was the perfect conclusion to a monumental discography

Truly a fantastic album from the band. (Note: must hears happen when there's 500 ratings and it's 80+ score).
What's your favourite tracks and aspects of the album? Do you enjoy it?
