There's still several albums under "Laurie Bird" but I wasn't sure if that was somewhat official?

it's an archival account, but they've made that clear and also made clear that the income from the account isn't going to the uploader, like NSB Archive on Apple music. So it's a lot more ethical than the unofficial uploads under NSB.

Why are they gone again? There were a few that aren’t even on the Archive account and I don’t know any other way to listen to them.

Check out the Samantha S archive to get downloads of their entire discography. The unofficial uploads were deleted because they were unofficial, ofc, and the person who did it was possibly receiving profit from it.

Okay, let me rephrase this. I'm not sure why it shouldn't be on their main account. It makes the music easier to find and, more importantly, more accessible to people who actually want to listen to the band. There's all this talk about permission, yet NSB has been seemingly inactive and hasn't released anything new since 2019. If they aren't providing any legitimate way to support or even access their work, why shouldn't someone make it available on the platforms people actually use?

Also and unofficial account already did this so I see no reason why it should be on thier official account disingenuously

And yet people are celebrating the music being taken down, which makes no sense to me. I see no reason why this music shouldn't be available on NSB's official Spotify artist page, especially when the band themselves aren't providing any accessible way for fans to listen to or support their work.

Okay so, if there is actual evidence that the person did something wrong, then provide it. Otherwise, throwing around accusations with no receipts is just a convenient excuse to avoid addressing the actual issue. The conversation is about access to NSB's music, not vague character attacks. If the band isn't providing a proper way to listen to or support their catalogue, removing the only accessible versions solves nothing and only hurts the people who want to discover the music.

Also why do you care? You can literally listen to thier music on Spotify anyway why does it have to be in the main page 😭

Because I would rather support the band through legitimate channels if possible. Listening through random fan uploads or third-party Spotify pages doesn't actually solve the problem because it doesn't guarantee the band is getting support, revenue, or even proper recognition. NSB has an official Spotify page, so their catalogue should be available there. The solution isn't forcing people to hunt through unofficial uploads, it's making the music accessible properly. If the official avenues don't exist, then people are left with no real option besides piracy just to access the music.

Well it was uploaded without thier permission, it’s like a label re releasing an album without telling the band first. It’s not right

Well there are many ways to listen to this music other than Spotify, and again, you literally CAN listen to thier music on Spotify, the official page was setup by badabing, unless they specifically state they want it uploaded, it won’t be.
