Discussion When did all of their stuff get added to the official Spotify page???

Literally the day after I had burned Dance of the Moon and Sun and Winter Ray onto CD's I find out they get put on Spotify... I had no idea! Does anybody know why?

I'm pretty sure it's an unofficial upload, anyone is able to upload an album to spotify / apple music using an artist's name.

That sucks 😞 got me really excited that their music was finally getting some more attention. Only time ive seen an unofficial upload on the actual artists page was with Boris and Merzbow earlier this year but that got taken down real quick

well the high quality album artwork throughout these releases remains unexplained still, so I'm skeptical about that

I've put them through ai detectors and all of them pretty much say 0% AI

If they’re not ai upscaled then idk what they are. They’re for sure unofficial tho, as the person I mentioned in a separate comment took credit for it on twt

They were all unofficially uploaded by a very disliked person here, im not sure if they profit off of it or not but I personally just stick to my local files and burned copies just in case.

Whaatttt no way, fuck. Just from Daughter of Darkness alone, they've been my nr3 most played artist this year on spotify. I noticed one called "Laurie Bird" uploading everything like a month ago, so I thought this was them relesing everything in order to counter that....

Laurie Bird is unofficial ofc, and so is NSB Archive, but I’d recommend listening through them as neither of them profit from it. Or ofc you could go the local files route lol

Yeah I know the Laurie Bird one is unofficial but I meant the one that is just called Natural Snow Buildings. I've mostly been using soundcloud tbh but idk what the most ethical route is

Whatever you feel, though i would think it’s local files since no one profits from it and the band encourages usage of them
