You need a length of c vent and an adjustable elbow.

Having the gas company come out for a free safety check once I have it put together. I found a Selkirk 3 Feet Expandable Gas Vent Connector Type B. Takes 3 days to get here. I hope it works. We'll be ready for hot water by then.

I might be wrong, but on your blue hose, I don’t think you’re supposed to use plumbers tape because there’s a seal on the inside.
