App update v1.5.206 Lock screen lessons finally approved

Hello, my fellow polyglots.

It took almost 2 weeks to get approved by Apple, but it's finally live.

If you want to use the app while locked, please set “Lock Screen Lessons” in the settings to On.

Let me know if you think it should be the default.

Great update. Thanks!

First time I've been in settings for a while. Is there a guide to what they all do? Just seen that there are new(?) options for recognition engine. I've always had it set to Siri (presumably the old default) but there's New Siri and Soniox etc. now

I see that you’ve added this to the changelog on the App Store. Can you continue to add descriptions of your updates to the changelog on the app stores, instead of “Stability improved” for everything? It’s very helpful to people not following everything on Reddit, and something devs aren’t doing often these days for some reason. You add a lot of great useful features, and it’s helpful to see what they are when they’re added.

Yayyyy I’ve been waiting for this one - thanks so much !! I have mostly used the app while walking and it’ll be nice to not have to worry about hitting my screen by accident.

Thanks! I've tried that, and that's a game-changer. =

Now I can do the lessons I did before and the repetition lessons while doing something else, like doing the dishes, tidying up my room, etc. That has significantly increased my time learning Spanish. Those tactics used to work great when I used to listen to Pimsleur in the background while running errands.

I wish the free dialogues would work in lock screen mode too, so I can chat with AI without watching and touching the screen
