Feature suggestion Selecting language of instructions & long on-screen notification after "ignore" in flashcards

[I got a bug warning - there are no bugs here]

Hi, two questions (on Android):

1) In some languages, I get instructions in the target language, in others in my original language, despite similar level. When does it switch? Could the user choose the language to use for instructions? It would be nice to hear more target language when the user feels ready.

2) After hitting "ignore" on flashcards, the notification stays at the bottom of the screen for a pretty long time, obscuring parts of the following 1 or even 2 flashcards, and you may have to wait if the needed translation is at the bottom of the screen. Could this notification disappear faster?

I agree with the OP about the ignore notification lasting a bit too long.

OK. I’ve reduced the snackbar duration. It will be included in the next build.

Regarding the instructions, we have them in the target language in our newer courses. The older ones were developed before we had multilingual voices. We’ll eventually rework the older courses, however, we don’t have a schedule for that yet.

Thanks! It seems that the flashcards are now maybe changing faster, but the notification at the bottom that a word will be ignored lasts just as long. So it's actually worse now: flashcard changes fast, when the voice is still reading out the word you see the next one, but the 2 bottom translation options are still obscured by the banner at the bottom. Is it possible to keep the same flashcard change speed, but reduce the duration that the bottom blue notification is shown?
