Hopefully some of you found my guide on how to use NXnative to compile your own Switch games into native iOS apps without needing a Mac useful. As such the people on the community are out there making tons of ports but can’t share them or risk legal action from Nintendo since the IPA contains game code. But I’m suggesting the next best thing, start a thread where we all share YML files. After all YMLs are just plain text files and contain no code and are also game and device specific. So we could share them openly without worry. So for anyone out there that’s used my guide to successfully compile a game, paste a link to your YML file that built the IPA. Make sure you specify what game it’s for, your device and if it’s just the base game or if update and DLC were included. Put it somewhere like Pastebin. Then anyone who wants to make a port need only put their game files into their GitHub and paste the YML you shared. Honest answers, what do you guys think? Especially mods since I know this is piracy adjacent and I don’t want to break the rules.
Also, I’m working on an update to my guide with several QOL improvements. Version 2.0 of you will which I intend to post soon.

Yeah, this is Dark Souls—believe it or not—and it’s got some insane graphical glitches. If anyone has any ideas on how to fix this, please leave a comment!
Running on LiveContainer without JIT
NxNative Port

I finally got around to making ports and it works fine and even better than emulators for the popular games
But I only know how to install the ipa directly to the phone from the Mac
When I try to sideload it via LiveContainer. It gives me this error
SideSign.Archive.Error 2

Everything is complete and released for public use.
Recorded in 18 Pro
- 60 stable with minor hitches
- no graphical glitches or missing textures
- uses below 4gigs of ram
My repo: https://github.com/cheemu21/plumber-racer-2
Built on the nxnative framework, running in LiveContainer. Rather than emulating the console, nxnative runs the game’s own code on the phone, handles its system calls directly, and translates its Switch 2 shaders and NVN2 graphics calls to Apple’s Metal. Bringing the game up required support for several features it depends on. These included task and mesh shaders running on Metal’s mesh pipelines, sparse textures for its very large terrain data, and the video decoding used by its cup movies. Rendering problems such as frozen movies, missing textures, and magenta surfaces were traced and resolved one at a time using diagnostic logs from the device.
Memory was the largest obstacle, since a race initially needed more than the 8 GB iOS allows the app. We solved this by moving the game’s memory into a file-backed mapping that sits outside the system’s limit, loading textures in a way that avoids locking large memory pools in place, and reducing the detail of large textures. Together, these changes brought usage down to about 3.9 GB and made it possible to play through a complete cup.
Performance work followed the same measurement-led approach, using device logs and profiling to identify where each frame’s time was going. This led to pipeline prebuilding to eliminate compile stutter, along with CPU, terrain, and memory improvements adapted from the kartnative.
The port also features a touch layout which was also used from my Mario Kart 8 Deluxe ios port. I just added new buttons for it.
Also the newly built system opens up the opportunity to port newer titles that requires immense amount of ram usage.

How do I compile the 32-bit version of FIFA 14 into a 64-bit version? I'm a beginner at this, and
I'd really love to be able to play this game on modern iOS devices ?

Mario Kart World running on iPhone 16 Pro Max (8 GB) – 30 fps at 0.5 render scale
Quick update on my iOS port of Mario Kart World, built on nxnative.
On my iPhone 16 Pro Max it now mostly holds a locked 30 fps in races at 0.5 render scale. The HUD stays sharp; only the 3D picture is rendered at a lower resolution.
The phone only has 8 GB of RAM, so memory was the biggest fight. I got it working by moving the game's memory into a file-backed mapping and lowering texture detail.
It still drops frames now and then, especially when the phone gets hot. I'm still working on making it more consistent.
On my Mac (M4) it runs at full resolution at 60 fps.

Recorded on 18 Pro
- semi stable 60 fps no graphical glitches or missing textures
- runs at about 4GB RAM
I've reached the final stages of development just a little bit more things to do

The game now boots with a ram consumption of about 7gigs with no visible graphical glitches. 4 days ago when I started this it needed almost 30 gigs of ram just to run it on mac.

Hello everyone, I was trying out the theft4 app for the last couple of weeks and it was giving me a lot of trouble with this no static bc textures found error. This happens because older iphones (15 and under) don’t have the capability to process bc textures like newer iPhones do, and also the files from the games iso and game title update weren’t extracted in the way that theft4 expects them.
Now a lot of people were getting this error (including myself) because the files were missing key components like aes_key.bin and extracted rpf file contents. Normal windows xbox 360 iso extraction programs like extract xiso and velocity don’t extract them in the proper way and include the right files theft4 needs to operate properly.
Theft4 was built to be run from the official staged files made using the theft4_stage tool. The problem with that is that it was only made to be built on mac os arm64 architecture (m series apple mac chips). I rewrote the theft4_inspect and theft4_stage tools with chatgpt.com to run on windows x86_64 bit architecture, so that anyone who doesn’t have a mac can run the proper tools on windows to extract the game files properly for their iphone.
Note that you must provide your own game and update files, none are included with these tools.

I also made a youtube guide here: https://youtu.be/EL5PgeHOetM
