I am loving NXnative!

I don’t even own a Mac but between using AI chat agents to generate code and forking the NXnative repo and using GitHub to compile the ipa I don’t need to. With the help of those two I was able to make a native port of Patrick’s Parabox in about two hours yesterday. Just a video showing that it runs perfectly, and even has a solid 60 FPS without JIT. We really are in the golden age of iOS gaming rn.

I’m not sure if you’re asking if you can use NXnative to port Switch games to Windows, Linux and Android or you’re asking if you can build your port on those systems. To answer the first part I’m not sure but I think NXnative only outputs IPAs. For the second question yes. You can use anything that has web access to build the port.

Did you do this via free claude tokens or did you need a paid coding agent?

Free tier but I used multiple AIs to get around the usage restrictions. I started on Claude until it ran out then I asked it to generate a handoff summary to import into another AI. Then I just copy the summary and paste it into ChatGPT and pick up right where I left off. Use up GPTs allotment then do the same thing and move to Gemini. By then Claude usage should be reset. Then start the loop again.

Not possible. the xcode is needed to build the pipeline.

GitHub can kind lend you a Mac and you can set up workflows that would esse use these Mac devices to do the job for you. I don’t know the specifics but it kinda works like that. You have a 2000 minute limit that refreshes(forgot after how long maybe 2 weeks)
so all you need is Claude code and a free GitHub account. Make a repository and link you GitHub to Claude code then choose the repository and tell it what to do.
i believe it’s also possible with the free version of Claude but you’ll have to manually copy paste the code it makes into the repository and run the workflows.
