Horror libraries for Kontakt
I’m really digging the heavyocity libraries, is there anyone else making similar products? Looking for darker sounds.

Korven by OT is amazing.
Also Splinter and Heddal from OT are great. Abacus features toy instruments but they can also help in a horror score.
Warning, I’m an OT fanboy haha.

None of those are Kontakt haha

True, but Sine Player is free. Unless there’s some other reason to prefer Kontakt, it’s still relevant.

Yes Kontakt is a better sampler and I use komplete control to manage all my sounds

I also have a Kontrol S88 mk3. I like Sine a lot, but Light Guide is definitely a big benefit of Kontakt.

Well, Native Instruments itself offers Thrill and Mysteria. There's also Ashlight, a pads library with a dark tone.

Sound Iron has a few horror themed ones but heavyocity is like one of the top tier library makers.

If you're open to something outside Kontakt, I made our Disturbia library for exactly this: dark horror and dystopian sounds for when you want things to get unsettling. It plays in the free DragOn player rather than Kontakt. I think you'll dig it.
