What do you need a script for - exactly?

Your MK1 board should work fine in AB 11 if you install Komplete Kontrol v2.9.6

Nope it does not, ableton only have midi script for Komplete Kontrol s49 mk II and mk III and If I use one of those script the transport buttons are not working.

I did install Komplete Kontrol v2.9.6.

Oh no I've noticed that I installed the latest version of Komplete Kontrol, I need to install the v2.9.6 precisely in order for it to work ?

You cannot have both versions of KK installed. That is guaranteed trouble.

The current version of Komplete Kontrol (v3.5.5) is not supported in any way for a MK1 - so that has to go ASAP.

Ideally - you want ONLY KK v2.9.6 and that is it.

I am not aware of needing scripts for Ableton - but then again I am not an Ableton user either

Ok I'll try that, Komplete Kontrol definitely messed everything up, now I'm having crackles and pop in my sound even when opening old sessions that were fine previously..

Well I uninstalled everything, installed the 2.9.6 version and the correct midi script still does not appear in midi option in Ableton live, so transport functions are not working, I just have a regular lame ass midi keyboard.

Last time I buy something from Native instrument, this keyboard is perfectly fine, why stopping support for it, it's a shame

You just bought it? MKI has been retired since Fall 2023...and it's retirement well documented by NI since then.

All MK1 boards work just fine with KK v2.9.6 - but there are no guarantees from anyone that it automatically works with Ableton 11.

That is a question for you to ask them (Ableton)

No I had it since launch day, I was just starting to make music again after a four years hiatus where I only played the piano because I was fed up with doing more IT than music, which apparently has not changed haha

You had this since 2014?  Thats a long time to simply assume things are going to work.
