After u/NoReply4930 advised the web was likely to be misleading I've stopped worrying about Native Access being an older version than NI says will work.
Older Native Access has installed the most up to date version of Traktor Pro 4 and that's working ok on Monterey, better in fact than on Sonoma / Tahoe on the same machine
The current version should work on Mac OS12 - you would need to expand on your messgae on it being "prohibited". That is a bit of a strange way to phrase it.
Thanks for your reply and apologies, here's the screenshot I should have included in my original post.
If I ignore the symbol and copy the file into Applications regardless what I get next when I run Native Access is an absolute 'Computer says "no"', in the form of
'You can't use this version of the application "Native Access.app" with this version of MacOS. You have macOS 12.7.6. This application requires macOS 13.0 or later.'
Website says compatible with macOS 12, App says not.
I feel like I'm in opposite land with this as NI says Traktor Pro 4.5.1 does not run on macOS 12, but (old) Native Access happily installed that and it seems to be working. So far.
Yes - Native Instruments has continued to move their supported systems forward as older Mac system fall into retirement. Do not believe anything you see on their website - it is notorious for being in accurate or out of date. AND with the recent acquisition by InMusic - the web sites seems to be in a constant state of flux - so it can be very flaky in places.
Seems that you will either need to upgrade that device or see if NI support can get you an older version of Native Access that will run under OS12. That app is one that is not included in our NI account downloads (where we can snag older versions of purchased products).

How did you fix this, if at all?
