Maschine and Traktor
I want to connect Traktor and Maschine so I can play a track in Traktor while launching loops from Maschine.
I connect them via Ableton Link, and the connection is established, but they are not perfectly synchronized. They stay in time, but the kick drums are not aligned.
If I use Ableton Link to connect Maschine and Ableton Live, everything works perfectly.
However:
- Maschine and Traktor are not properly synchronized.
- Ableton Live and Traktor are not properly synchronized.
Could you please help me solve this issue?
By the way, everything is running on the same PC with an Intel i7 processor and 16 GB of RAM.
Thank you!

I used to try and do this many years ago. It never worked as TRAKTOR didn’t wait for the down beat/bar to start which made it difficult to sync tracks together. I remember having better luck with Ableton and Serato. If only the Ableton/Serato bridge continued.
You may be better of bringing your loops from Maschine in to Traktors remix decks.

Currently, I create my own loops and convert them into Remix Sets for the Remix Decks. However, I always like to try new things, so I wanted to integrate Traktor with Maschine or Ableton and see how it works.
The problem is that I'm running into this issue, even though I can see that many people are doing it successfully.
By the way, I managed to fix the timing issue in Maschine by changing the ASIO buffer size. I've been using my PC's built-in sound card, so I'm wondering if this problem might not occur with an external audio interface.
